Disclaimer & Advertising Disclosures

Important disclaimers about the financial and technical content on Capital & Compute, plus our advertising and affiliate disclosures.

Not financial or professional advice

Capital & Compute publishes general information and analysis about AI infrastructure economics: model and agent pricing, benchmarks, local and data-center compute, memory and GPU supply, and the markets around them, alongside adjacent finance topics.Nothing on this Site is financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, security, or product.

Markets, and crypto markets in particular, carry significant risk, including the total loss of capital. Tax and regulatory treatment varies by jurisdiction and changes over time. Before acting on anything you read here, consult a qualified professional who knows your situation. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

Accuracy and timeliness

We work hard to be accurate (see our editorial standards), but pricing, model capabilities, and rules change quickly. Information may be out of date by the time you read it. We make no warranty as to completeness or accuracy.

This applies with particular force to the price trackers, benchmark directory and model registry. Each is a dated snapshot verified against its source on the date shown, not a live feed. Provider rates change without notice, leaderboards re-rank continuously, benchmark versions swap their underlying task sets under the same name, and street prices for memory and GPUs move weekly. Confirm any figure at its own source before relying on it for a purchasing, budgeting or reporting decision.

Modeled figures and forward-looking statements

Some figures here are modeled rather than measured: a cost per completed task derived from published per-token rates, a break-even period for buying hardware instead of renting it, a projected effect of a supply constraint. Where a number is modeled, the assumptions are stated alongside it. Those assumptions are estimates, they are not the only reasonable ones, and a different set produces a different answer. Modeled figures are illustrative and are not a guarantee of the cost you will incur.

Analysis on this Site sometimes discusses expected or possible future developments in supply, pricing, capability, or regulation. Such statements are opinion and interpretation as of the date of writing, not predictions, and should not be relied on as forecasts.

Third-party content, benchmarks, and trademarks

Benchmark scores, provider prices and specifications reported here originate with third parties: model developers, benchmark maintainers, retailers, index providers and research organisations. We report and attribute them; we do not independently audit them, and we are not responsible for errors in the underlying source. Vendor-reported figures are labeled as such where they have not been independently corroborated.

Product names, company names, and logos referred to on this Site are the trademarks of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and commentary only and does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those owners.

Advertising disclosure

This Site displays third-party advertising. Ads are served by third parties and their presence does not constitute an endorsement. For how advertising cookies work and how to opt out, see our privacy policy.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this Site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you if you make a purchase through them. We only include affiliate links to products or services we would reference anyway, and any affiliate relationship that could affect a recommendation is disclosed at the point of the recommendation. Commissions never influence our editorial judgement.

Concretely, and so the boundary is testable rather than a promise: no position in any ranking, comparison table or directory on this Site is for sale, and no payment creates, improves or removes a listing. Getting an entry into a directory is free and open to anyone through the submissions page. What is genuinely available commercially is set out on the sponsorship page. Where a compensated link appears it is marked as sponsored in the link itself, so it is visible to you and to search engines, not only described in a policy page you would have to go and find.

No relationship created

Reading this Site, subscribing to the newsletter, or emailing us does not create any professional, advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship between you and Capital & Compute. We do not know your circumstances, your jurisdiction, your risk tolerance, or your obligations, and nothing published here is tailored to them. General information is not a substitute for advice from a professional who has looked at your specific situation.

Jurisdiction

Content is written for a general international audience. Tax treatment, financial regulation, consumer protection, and the availability and pricing of the products discussed all vary by country and change over time. Nothing here accounts for the rules that apply where you are, and a statement that is accurate in one jurisdiction may be wrong or unlawful to act on in another. Check local rules and take local advice before acting.

Limitation of liability

Your use of this Site and anything you do on the basis of it is at your own risk. The full disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability is set out in our terms of service, which govern your use of the Site alongside this page.

Reporting an error

If a number here is wrong or has gone stale, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed. Corrections are read first and are noted on the piece rather than quietly edited away; see our editorial standards for how corrections and updates are handled.
